Our Regional Champions are Fellows who bridge divides and lead vital activities across the UK to connect and strengthen our work across all communities.
Regional Champions are an essential part of making sure that experiences on the ground reach partners and decisionmakers who can make health improvements happen.
What do Regional Champions do?
Regional Champions strengthen connections between Fellows in their area, raise awareness of our work throughout the biomedical community, and make it easier for Fellows across the UK to be actively involved with the Academy.
We support Regional Champions to draw on their own ideas and insights to inspire interest and engagement with our work in their region. They run regional workshops, research festivals, early-career conferences, and many other activities.
For more information about the Regional Champions' work as a whole, contact our Regional Engagement Manager.
