Tim Eisen is Vice-president and Head of Oncology Translational Medicine at AstraZeneca and is one of the UK’s leading clinical figures in the field of cancer therapy. He was among the first to establish the role of the kinase inhibitor, sorafenib, in renal cancer and played a key role in building a department with a particular focus on developmental therapeutics when at Cambridge. At AstraZeneca, Tim has played a key role as Vice-President with substantial global responsibility for early phase clinical trials and he is now uniquely well placed to pursue his findings as therapeutic targets within Astra Zeneca.
