Richard Lilford is Professor of Public Health at the University of Warwick and is an internationally renowned researcher. He invented transabdominal chorion biopsy, conducted definitive observational studies, intervention studies, and was founding editor of the Cochrane Subfertility Group. |He has written extensively on health economics, Bayesian statistics and networks, medical ethics, and Data Monitoring Committees. Professor Lilford has also held many influential research management positions, has successfully directed three commissioning programs for the Department of Health/NIHR, and has been Head of School and Pro-Dean of Applied Research at Birmingham and Warwick Universities.
