Professor Phil Cowen FMedSci

Professor Philip Cowen is Professor of Psychopharmacology and MRC Clinical Scientist at the University of Oxford. He has studied the relationship between serotonin pathways and mechanisms in the brain and mood disorder. His findings have added greatly to our understanding of the mechanisms of depressive illness and its relationship with abnormal eating patterns.
