Dr Juliet Compston is University Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Physician at the University of Cambridge Clinical School. She has developed the application of quantitative analytical techniques for the measurement of bone mass and structure. This has enabled her to conduct a series of important clinical investigations in patients with osteoporosis and to assess the effect of interventions on the natural history of osteoporosis.
