Professor Deborah Dunn-Walters FMedSci

Deborah Dunn-Walters is Associate Dean for Research and Innovation at the University of Surrey. As a world-leading immunologist in the area of B cell development and ageing she has produced innovative, enabling and transformative work. Her collaborative nature has resulted in paradigm-shifting discoveries in autoimmunity, cancer, mucosal immunology and infection. She can lead research across disciplines and was at the forefront of the computational immunology movement.

She is a collegiate scientist, contributing to the British Society for Research on Ageing and the BSI. Since COVID-19, where she carried out extensive leadership, service and public/government information activities, she has continued with wider service roles in UKRI across MRC and BBSRC.
