Daniel Altmann is Professor of Immunology at Imperial College London and is a world-renowned immunologist known as
a leader in Human Leucocyte Antigens, immunogenetics and T cell function across bacterial, viral and autoimmune diseases. A well-known science communicator and author, he is a ‘go-to’ public face of infection and immunity research, in demand internationally for expert interviews on diverse subjects relating to infection outbreaks, vaccinology and disease control.
Professor Altmann has considerable experience and strong contacts through his advisory roles to Cabinet and opposition teams, and his involvement with MPs and Ministers through All Party Parliamentary Groups.
