Professor Christopher Kennard is Professor of Clinical Neurology at Imperial College. He is unique amongst clinical visual neuroscientists in being to be able to apply his expertise in both vision and oculomotor control to studies of brain function. He has made significant advances in the understanding of neural control of eye movements by his detailed studies of patients with focal neurological disturbances using new experimental systems. Chris Kennard has consistently produced new insights into the neural mechanisms underlying eye movement control, and vision.
