Charlotte Allerton, CSO and Head of Research & Development at ViiV Healthcare, is a world-recognised expert in the creation of new medicines. Her most outstanding contribution to human health was leading the team that discovered Paxlovid, the first oral antiviral COVID-19 treatment, a novel medicine that saved innumerable lives around the world.
