Avshalom Caspi is Professor of Personality Development at the Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Research Centre at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London. He is a developmental psychologist who has made very significant contributions to a neglected branch of medical science, the study of personality and its development. He has focused within that field on behaviour, including criminal behaviour, and is integrating both genetic and environmental factors in increasingly sophisticated models.
