Annaliesa Anderson is Senior Vice President, Chief Scientific Officer & Head of Vaccine Research and Development at Pfizer. She is a vaccinologist who has made significant global contributions to the development of vaccines and therapeutics for the prevention and treatment of a multitude of infectious diseases. At Pfizer she leads a global organization of over 1,200 scientists, clinicians, engineers, statisticians, and other professional staff and is responsible for setting the strategic priorities for her organization and leading the advancement of Pfizer’s vast and ever-growing vaccine portfolio, which includes eight licensed vaccine products, as well as more than 20 programs in active development.
