Tim Dalgleish, Programme Lead of the Cognition, Emotion & Mental Health Group at the MRC Cognition & Brain Sciences Unit, is a world-leading cognitive neuroscientist and clinical psychologist. His focus is on one of the most significant medical challenges of modern times namely enhancing the understanding and treatment of mood, anxiety and stress disorders in children, young people and adults. His work has contributed to new NICE guidance for the prevention of adult depression, for collaborative care for treatment-resistant depression, and on the use of cognitive therapy for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder in children and young people.
