Mary Reilly is Professor of Neurology at University College London and an outstanding clinical scientist in academic clinical neurology. She is internationally recognised as a pioneer in inherited peripheral neuropathies, and identified the genes underlying several forms of Charcot Marie Tooth disease. |She has shown exemplary leadership in the creation of the UCL Centre for Neuromuscular Disease, and subsequently helping to establish the International Centre for Genomic Medicine in Neuromuscular Diseases. She is a past President of the Association of British Neurologists, where she introduced several innovations to encourage research and improve education, which will benefit neurological patients.
