Professor Kinya Otsu FMedSci
British Heart Foundation Chair of Cardiology at King’s College London, Kinya Otsu is a world-leading cardiovascular clinician scientist. His research focuses on mechanisms underlying the development of heart failure, with particular emphasis on the roles of cardiomyocyte death and inflammation. This work is at the very forefront of the field, contributing to significant changes in established paradigms. His background as a clinical cardiologist forms the basis for a strong translational research focus, highly relevant to the development of new therapies for heart failure.
