Professor of Clinical Neurology at UCL, Sarah Tabrizi has made major contributions to understanding basic cellular mechanisms and significantly advancing clinical research in neurodegenerative diseases. Her principal focus is in Huntington’s disease where she is now an undoubted international leader with a major interdisciplinary research programme which has received wide acclaim and she leads the international TRACK-HD consortium. Her work is regarded as setting standards for studies in other neurodegenerative diseases. Sarah has built and leads a highly effective and innovative HD clinical service at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, showing the highest level of commitment and professionalism to her patients and their families.
