Professor Francis Creed is Professor of Psychological Medicine at the University of Manchester. His research work has led to excellence in 3 separate areas; liaison psychiatry with special reference to gastroenterology, the cost effective use of psychiatric day hospitals, and the best method of delivering care to the severely mentally ill.
