Professor Dimitri Kullman is Professor of Neurology at the Institute of Neurology, University College London. He is a biophysicist whose research is directed towards clinical problems in neurology. He has focused on the neurological syndromes associated with mutations in ion channel proteins. In particular he has conducted important studies into the clinical phenotypes and molecular consequences of mutations in the potassium channel gene associated with an episodic ataxia and sometimes with epilepsy.
