Marion Campbell is Vice Principal and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research) & Professor of Health Services Research at the University of Aberdeen. She is an internationally renowned medical statistician and clinical trials methodologist. She is world-renowned for her work on the evaluation of surgical interventions and her leadership of innovative surgical trial design. Her wider research has led to the major advances in the design and conduct of cluster trials now widely used across clinical and healthcare research. She is an international opinion-leader in the health research sphere, with deep and productive connections across national and international agencies and with policy makers. She is also a passionate advocate of mentoring and a highly visible role model for women in STEM.
