John Pasi is Vice President & Global Head of Haematology and Rare Blood Diseases at Roche Products Ltd. He is an internationally respected haematologist, specialising academically and clinically in clotting disorders. He has led work in the understanding and treatment of haemophilia which has been published in high impact journals, including several NEJM papers. Having moved into industry, he has been quick to apply his understanding of haemophilia for patient benefit. He led the extension of emicizumab to patients with "mild and moderate" haemophilia, whereas previously it was available only for those with severe disease. He provides valuable insights and input across the academic, clinical and industrial sectors.
