Facundo Batista is an internationally renowned expert in the fields of B cell activation, high-resolution imaging and in vivo microscopy at the London Research Institute. In a short period of time as an independent investigator, Facundo has secured an enviable position among the most prominent immunologists worldwide. His meteoric career is reflected by numerous publications in Nature, Science, Immunity, EMBO Journal, Journal of Experimental Medicine and Nature Immunology; invitations to attend and organise major international conferences; election to the EMBO Young Investigator Programme and full EMBO membership; awarding of the Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award; and service on the Editorial Boards of various journals including Science.
