Round 17 of Starter Grants for Clinical Lecturers opens

Round 17 of the Starter Grants for Clinical Lecturers scheme is now open for applications.

We are pleased to announce that the Starter Grants scheme is now open to clinicians in veterinary, human and dental medicine.

Starter grants provide up to £30,000 over 1-2 years for consumables, to support Clinical Lecturers who are looking to develop and strengthen their research careers.

Since 2008, the scheme has supported nearly 369 Clinical Lecturers through sixteen rounds of funding, with grants totalling over £10.4 million.

You can apply for the programme using the Academy's online grant management system: Flexi-Grant

The deadline for applications will be 5.00 pm, Wednesday 8 March 2017.

For more information, including eligibility and how to apply, please please see the Academy's Starter Grant webpage.
