Do you want to know more about careers in academic medicine? Would you like to develop your network of contacts and support?
This event will provide a space for trainees and students interested in a clinical academic career to network, learn about transitioning to a research career, how to attract funding, balancing work and family life, as well as providing an opportunity to develop strong connections with peers and senior academics.
The event will be chaired by Professor Danny McAuley, Director of the Clinical Academic Training Programme, Queen's University Belfast, and is open to all students and trainees from pre-doctoral junior doctors to Clinician Scientists.
