The Academy’s Council recently approved the establishment of a network of champions across the UK. The network will be led by Professor Martin Humphries FMedSci, Vice President, Academy of Medical Sciences.
These champions will be provided with a small budget to undertake activities in their area that deliver three objectives:
1. To increase connectivity amongst Fellows.
2. To raise awareness of the Academy’s work amongst the broader biomedical community, particularly early career researchers.
3. To catalyse engagement with the Academy by the Fellowship and the local biomedical community.
We are seeking expressions of interest from Fellows wishing to become one of these champions.
A person specification and indication of activities involved is available to download on this page. Fellows interested in acting as a champion are invited to complete an submission of interest form and submit it to the Academy office by 7 April 2014.
If you would like to discuss the scheme further please contact firstname.lastname@example.org 020 3176 2154.
