Bring industry, academia and the healthcare system together to drive health gains for society

We are the independent, expert voice of biomedical and health research in the UK. We have a Fellowship of the most influential scientists in the UK and worldwide. The Academy’s new strategy sets out its vision of good health for all supported by the best research and evidence.

The Academy’s FORUM provides an independent platform for individuals from across academia, industry, the healthcare system and Government, and the charity, regulatory and wider healthcare sector, to meet and take forward national discussions on scientific opportunities, technology trends and associated strategic choices for healthcare. Patients and carers make an important and increasing contribution to our FORUM activities.

We are looking for somebody who is committed to improving health for all, willing to innovate, and ideally has experience in organising events. Working closely with the FORUM Policy Manager, you will help develop and deliver high impact events and support the growth of the membership of the FORUM, working with a wide range of stakeholders to tackle some of the most significant health challenges faced by our society. You will have a willingness to learn about the UK life sciences and health and care research ecosystems, including the factors that influence research and its translation into benefits for society. FORUM works with a wide range of organisations across the health and life sciences, so we welcome applications from people with a variety of professional backgrounds.

Excellent benefits include: generous leave allowance, the Academy’s pension scheme, and travel assistance amongst others. The Academy is based in offices near Oxford Circus.
